Project Description

The Sarah Porter School is located in the small rural town of Langdon NH (about 500 residents). The school serves 20 students in grades 1 through 4. We are involved in preserving open fields in this area and noticed that the school was trying to raise funds for a playground. Consistent with our slogan of “small acts of kindness”, we felt that the children, no matter how few, needed to be able to get exercise as part of their school day. We completed the funding for the playground equipment and construction, and also “adopted” the school to help it provide for their children’s early educational needs.
