While visiting my dentist’s office, Smile Boston in Brookline , MA, I noticed several photographs of Dr. Spitz working on the teeth of a tiger. He is part of a team of human dentists who volunteer their time to care for wild animals. We introduced him to the Director of Zoo New England and made a critical match for the animals at our zoo. If left unattended a damaged or infected tooth will not only be painful, but can cause a large cat or tiny primate to perish. The Darwin Project now helps to fund this effort.
